Escrow London selected as a UK Government G-Cloud 13 Supplier

Software escrow services including open-source audits and software bill of materials audits are to be offered to the public sector via the G-Cloud 13 Digital Marketplace.

Escrow London, a leading global software escrow vendor, has successfully been approved to supply their innovative software escrow solutions through the latest iteration of the UK Government’s G-Cloud framework.

As a result, Escrow London can continue to offer software escrow services and SaaS escrow for AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. In addition to this, Escrow London is delighted to have been awarded a contract to be able to offer open-source audits and software bill of materials (SBOM) audits on the G-Cloud 13 framework. Open-source code audits and SBOM’s are a logical extension of the services in which Escrow London provides around the secure management and validation of source code. Open-source code audits assists organisations in identifying if any open source code is used within an application and if the usage of such open source code is in breach of any licensing obligations such as “copy-left”. Software bill of material audits provide a useful inventory of code embedded within a software application. In the event of a vulnerability such as Log4j, organisations can easily identify if such a code is used within an application and act promptly if any remediation is required.

First introduced in 2012, G-Cloud is the Crown Commercial Service’s (CSS) procurement framework of approved supplier cloud-based solutions which are made available via a catalogue called the Digital Marketplace. The G-Cloud framework enables public sector organisations such as schools, councils, NHS hospitals and emergency services, to purchase compliant and regularly refreshed cloud-based solutions through the Digital Marketplace quickly and efficiently through pre-approved commercial arrangements.

Evan Lever, CEO and Founder of Escrow London, said “Now in our 5th year, we are very pleased to be awarded the G-Cloud 13 framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service to continue to supply our innovative SaaS and software escrow solutions to the public sector. We are also thrilled that Escrow London are now able to offer our additional services of open-source audits and software bill of material audits through this latest iteration of the G-Cloud framework. As Escrow London continues to grow, we pride ourselves in developing innovative and robust software escrow and SaaS escrow solutions which provide real-time continuity for businesses throughout the UK and globally.”

G-Cloud 13 will be launched on 9th November and hopes to deliver an enhanced experience for both customers and suppliers.
